BIO
Math the Band is equal parts Atom and His Package and Andrew WK. Sampled casio sk1 drums, paired with solid square waves and more BPMs than can possibly be considered reasonable. Started by a sixteen year old kid who was kicked out of his high school pop-punk band, Math the Band has been going strong for 5 years, playing well over 500 shows throughout the US, Mexico and Canada, with bands such as Andrew WK, Matt and Kim, Polysics and Bob Doland. (I sincerely apologize for writing in the third person.)
well thank you! the only reason i asked is because the links on Maths myspace have been reported as spam and i couldn't figure out how to get to em. but thanks for those links. I'll be sure to tell you what i think about em. maybe even write a review for em.
dear math the band, im really interested in math, your other band. the links on the myspace arent working, and im downloading the nature ep, but i was wondering how i get the other things youve recorded.
Hey guys, I just wanted to say that I'm a pretty big fan of your stage presence and energy and that's something that I'm really trying to do with this band I'm starting up. It's a shitton of work being that energetic and jumpy while playing. It's probably going to be all for nothing since we'll be stuck opening for Christian Metalcore/hardcore bands until I get tired of the band but it's a fun project. If you guys ever come to Kentucky for a show, I'd bring an entourage with me if it's any motivation :D
So you canceled your DC tour dates... and now I'm going to have to kill myself.
I know that it is unlikely, BUT if you wanted to play a show or two in good old Colonial Williamsburg I know of at least two venues that would have you. (http://www.myspace.com/meridiancoffeehouse)
Thanks so much for playing with us on the 7th! Thank you also for waving/honking at us on the 8th! WE ALREADY MISS YOU!!!
I edited the audio onto the video and it sounds/looks fucking GREAT! We'll cut it up into songs for you and put it on youtube. Is there a mailing address we can send you a DVD copy of the show as one big video? The quality on this is great despite the static camera.
