About me:

I'm Matt, I write things... reviews, press releases, anything else you might like. I'm available to bands and artists for any work they might need in exchange for a small recompense of some kind.

I also run a website, Call Upon The Author, where I'd be happy to review any releases be they singles, EPs or albums, that you care to send me.

I currently work with the excellent Stiff Promotions, writing press releases for them. I also write for Subba Cultcha, Blues Matters magazine and the Artrocker website.

In terms of 'celebrities' I've always wanted to meet Jimmy Page and Brian May. I look up to Bill Bryson as an excellent writer and think Stephen Fry is both a hilariously funny man and a great user of language.

    Jon is the singer/songwriter behind the highly aclaimed song 'Going Home' used on the Landrover advert. He has recently had his songs 'In Your Light', 'Dead mans Suit', 'Young Man Blues'   and 'Down by the river' playlisted on Radio 2, Absolute Radio and many regional radio programs. He appeared on the Jools Holland Show back in May and  supported Seal on his European Tour gaining him many new fans. Don't miss your chance  to see Jon live at this lovely venue.     Hey Matt!!
    How's it going?? I'm taking a minute out of the studio to come and say hi, It's been a while!!! Did you know that we're back in the studio!!??  it's so special here.... we bought an old church an transformed it into a studio!! it's beautiful and in the main time, the acoustic is perfect!!!
    The music's gonna be crazy here....trust me..lol... (This is us earlier this week http://tweetphoto.com/26cdca)

    I see the lights opening in the studio, the guys are ready to start...sorry....I gotta go...

    Hey, hows it going?

    This week is a momentous week for Trail. We have released a track from our upcoming album "To The Rest of The World" called "Prism". It is now available via iTunes, Amazon and via SMS in the UK. Text "Track 3852" to 83262 and a reply will tell you how to download to your computer. We are obviously working hard to get up as high as possible in the charts so any help will be very much appreciated!

    Just wanted to let you know that my band is now complete and called Moirai (meaning the gods of fate or the fates) things are going great and we are working on our 1st album and play list. We should be doing our 1st offcial gig very soon and will let you know details nearer the time. Just to give you a taster we have added the sample track of my song " What do I have to do" to our profile page, it's awesome and I think you'll smile at the line "would you notice if I walked through naked while the footie was on" lol. I hope your impressed enough to tell your friends about us and we look forward to your comments.
