About MATT NORTH

Matt is a native of Champaign, Illinois now based in Los Angeles. An alum of North Texas, he recently produced Rob Kendt's critically acclaimed LP "I'm Not Sentimental" and Hail The Size's debut LP "I Can't Die In LA" featuring piano/vocal performances by former Lone Justice lead singer, Maria McKee.

Matt has played music professionally since the age of 12 and has recorded and performed with Viktor Krauss, Jesse DeNatale, Nicholas Tremulis, Blondie Chaplin, Matt Fish (Alejandro Escavedo), Andy Prieboy, Kristian Hoffman, J'anna Jacoby (Rod Stewart), Gina Villalobos, Abby Travis, cult-icon Mink Stole of John Waters fame, and pop prodigy Todd Fletcher of Twiggy and June and The Exit Wounds (Parasol Records).

He is also a contributing writer for Modern Drummer Magazine and teaches privately in the LA area.
