With his first album release “Never Ending Aftermath” hitting college radio 2008, Matt Powers made his presence known on the Indie Rock scene immediately. Recorded with Oliver Strauss of Mission Sound (Taking Back Sunday, All-American Rejects) in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and recorded 11 tunes in 10 days (including mixing!).
After 2 years, Matt is ready again to work on another album. Backed by the members of PEOPLE, Matt is working on an EP at Transformer studios in Burbank, Los Angeles, CA.
Owned by Dave Jerden (Rolling Stones, Jane's Addiction, Alice in Chains), Bryan Carlstrom, and PEOPLE's Jimmy Young, it is a factory for numerous LA buzz bands. Matt joined PEOPLE early 2009.
