About me:

Young guy living in the Chicago suburbs. Grew up here, went to college at Bowling Green State Univ in Ohio, then spent a few years working in Indiana and Ohio before coming back to Chicago. Love having a good time with good people and am pretty down to earth. I take life at my own speed as much as i can. I work a normal day and the evenings and weekends are my time to unwind. Ive traveled a lot of the US, even some international spots. Wouldn't mind seeing some places in the states, but until teleportation is an option, dont have anything overseas picked out to visit. HUGE BEARS FAN. Cant mess with that.

    absolutely! You're right, though. It is tradition! The only part of the tradition i want to break is not going from BGSU to a theater. :) Unless we go to Pollyeyes. Then, that would be worth the trip there. I would much rather check those moooovies out in Chicago, though!

    I was home over Xmas-- probably won't be back again till summer-- the rents are coming out here in a few weeks and then I'm meeting them down in Cayman in April. Thinking about doing one last Alpine weekend before my parents join me in So-Cal though-- we'll have to talk when dates are announced... which, hey hey, it's getting to be that time of year, ain't it? Better start saving my pennies!

    I was about say we didn't talk about the amazing John Mayer show... but then again, we just don't talk... so rather, I haven't yet left you an obnoxious comment about it... So here goes: The trio was AMAZING, they really jammed it out and were all wearing really handsome, matching suits. And oh yeah-- got the Piedmont DVD for xmas-- watched it on Wednesday night again to celebrate.

    So, I leave you with this thought.

    You ain't ever had my cornbread. A little bit of heaven, and a little bit of uh uh...

    Okay so both shows were great in their own right, especially since my cousin and I were able to move to some pretty sweet seats night one... But the most important thing... They had this banjo guy guest both nights-- after he played night 2, a few songs later, Dave says, "We've got a friend that lives here in LA that we wanna bring out..." I'm thinking, oh it'll be some other random musician... whatev, it'll be cool just like the banjo guy... but no, he says, "Mr. John Mayer"!!!! And then he played with them on #41.. sigh... it was like my fantasy was being played out on stage... AMAZING. Then Ziggy Marley showed up with Stephen Marley and his lovely lady, and this crazy rastafarian whose sole purpose was to wave a Jamaican flag around throughout a kick-ass version of "Exodus"!!

    *smiles* I know, I miss all my Spartans. I'm going to be horribly behind when I finally come home on the breaks. *shudders* that's gonna be one long-arse grind... 62 to 80. *wince* anywho, Hope ya'll are havin' enough fun without me ^_^ You guys have been progressing quite well. (IMO and from what I can tell from the GP site) I'll try to sign on to Vent on one of the nights right before a run ^_^ cya later!
