Register to vote now! If our band gets the most registrations, we will get to play that Rock the Vote kickoff show for the convention. For a political band like ours, I think you know what this would mean to us. Please register to vote, because 1) you don't count unless you do, and 2) you could really be helping your friends Max and the Marginalized out. Thanks!

What We Are:
It's simple really. In a time when there is more of a need for people to sing about political and social change than ever, bands singing about their little eight-foot-wide social circles multiply like rats.
Max and the Marginalized don't do that. We write and record a song once a week about something happening at the moment, post it for people to hear and share and move on to the next song and topic. There are political bands that will write a song about the war and coyly cross their fingers and hope that it goes on long enough for their song to still be relevant enough to make the charts at their album's street date. That is fucking nonsense. Songs about now should be heard now.
Whether lambasting anti-immigration CNN anchor Lou Dobbs, singing about Iraq and Afghanistan veterans bringing home an epidemic of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or trivializing the administration's (yes, they're still here) latest statement to scare us about Iran, we are here to bring our ideas and ideals forward with whatever sound we feel like making at the time, free from the vagueness and the sonic-boxing in that infects too much of the black-patch set.
As of this writing, we have done 31 songs in the 31weeks since our inception and you can download them all here for free. Enjoy.
So, now that MySpace makes it very difficult to download songs that are not hosted at MySpace, I have moved the Download/Donate store thingy here to our official site. You can download the Marginography, which has 34 songs (as of now) complete with a lyric sheet and the story behind each song, or you can download the songs individually.Clicking any of these links will initiate MySpace's anti-phishing warning. It's okay, we're not going to phish you so please click through. Thanks!

I saw some hacks on Conan last night performing one of their 'politically-oriented' songs, "Simply Obama-resistible". Their awfulness only served to remind me of how excited I am to catch your show on Monday!
I'm in love with so dak's song! it's agreed that the abortion ban shouldn't take place.we're wasting bloody time on things that should be left unaltered.
