There isn't much that I don't have an interest in. I guess my biggest interest is in learning. I once had a boss who said he had never met anyone who had such a consuming desire to learn. He said it was admirable...but a little scary too!
Life is about learning: Grow or die, it's one way or the other.
Music
I come from a musical family. Some of my earliest memories of family involve everyone gathering around my aunt Erma playing the piano and everyone singing. My dad and his brothers all played music at one time or another. My sister sang for Les Brown, Maynard Fergueson, Clyde Trask and Buddy Morrow.
I played music professionally in my youth. My musical career started in grade school and I played in various bands through and after high school and college including being a lead singer in the band "Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods."
I manage people in the creative arts, mostly musicians. I own a successful indie label.
There is very little music I don't like, from classical to hip hop. Sonia Dada, Led Zeppelin, Eagles, Well Hungarians, Sable, John Mayer, Christina Aguillera and many more.
Movies
Anything with Sam Elliot. What it is about his characters that I enjoy I'm not sure....I guess he plays warm and sincere well.
I like action movies (I am a man after all) I'm a person close to his emotions so I like movies that touch one's emotions as well.
Television
Law and Order, Grey's Anatomy, The Unit, 24, Boston Legal, Las Vegas. Old Favorites would be Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blue, Homicide Life on the Street and more
Books
I read mysteries for pleasure. Constantly read books about the entertainment business as well, both for pleasure and work.
Heroes
There are so many heroes in life. They come in all varieties. Teachers, doctors, police and fire, and those who serve the public good. Are they all heroes...no. But many are. I have musical heroes too. Many folks are my everyday heroes. Those who bust their butts every day to make the world a little better than they found it.

About me: I'm hard to describe. "Larger than life" "A definite presence" "A smile like the Cheshire Cat." All of these terms have been used to describe me.
A good friend once gave me a cartoon which showed a secretary on the phone outside an office. The caption read. "I think he's in....I hear his theme music."
My mom (now deceased) once asked me what I thought was my best skill or attribute. I gave her some responses that she shook her head...no...no...no. I gave up and asked her what she thought it was. She said, "Life is full of lemons, no matter who you are. You make the best lemonade of anyone I have ever known."
I have been entrepreneurial for much of my life. My uncle Marian who was self employed told me early in life "Nobody will pay you what you deserve but you." I found working for others that he was right.
I own several businesses, among them Million Dollar Artists (representing and managing entertainers....which is like saying I walk cats on a leash) and an indie record label, American Eagle Recordings.

Who I'd like to meet: Do to the nature of what I do and have done, I have met a lot of famous people. I'm sure that if I put more thought into it there are some famous or notable people I would like to meet that I have not.
Sam Elliot would be one (see movies below)Bill Clinton would be another....I'm told he has incredible charisma entering a room. I have met other Presidents, but Clinton is one I would like to add to those I have met.
Of the not so famous people? People I like meeting are down to earth, comfortable in their own skin, without a lot of attitude. I'm a little crazy (OK, maybe I'm a whole lot crazy,) so I like a little "crazy"in others. Psychos however, please move on.
I enjoy people who enjoy music, the beauty in life, people who treat others with respect.
Attention: Con artists, people who feel the need to stir up crap in peoples lives, pathological liars, borderline personalities. Please take note. I have already met enough of you folks to fill my lifetime quota so please move on.
