Collaborations with other artists include records with Future Sound of London, and Roni Size, as well as music installation and gallery works, including a series of scores for the Super8mm films of Derek Jarman.
Max recently produced the long-awaited second album by 60s folk legend Vashti Bunyan.
For ten years max was a member of the ensemble PIano Circus, with whom he recorded 5 discs of contemporary classical work for Decca.
