About me:
The one known as Flowpro has been MCing since 1997.Living in Edmonton and starting out as a hip-hop Mc,at a young age he and his crew lived out the hip-hop lifestyle to the fullest hitting walls and rocking dancefloors with their bboy and graffitti styles.In late 98 and early 99 Flowpro heard the combo of drum and bass djs with mcs on a very influential person, known as Spilt Milk's radio show "Catch the Beat".From this experience Flowpro began seeking out new sound and listened to Mc's such as Rage, Fearless and Det.He would go to the local record shops and buy every Drum and Bass 8 pack tape set coming out of the UK.There was an interview that he read with Mc Det that gave him a full insight and comprehension of the role of a D&B MC.Flowpro owned his skills and began to get lots of recognition in the Alberta D&B scene.As one of the main MC's in the electronic music scene he would rock the mic for anyone rocking a breakbeat but specifically drum and bass.With his main man Sureshock they played numerous clubnights and had a weekly residency at Y afterhours.He has MC' alongside numerous world class artists such as Aphrodite,Zinc,John Rolodex,Limewax,Evol Intent,Concord Dawn,Spor and High Contrast to name a few.He has opened for numerous Dj's from Goldie to AndyC and many Mc's from Demolition man to GQ.
