i still love cartoons. i grew up on duck tales, shirt tales, gummi bears, chipmunks. my favorite cartoon of all time is tom and jerry. i still laugh every time. and now that im older i can get into the cool retro sixty ones that i thought sucked when i was a kid. popeye also rules. these days i guess i just watch clone wars. i like the way they play with light and make lots of stuff dark. i also pretend all clones are ben kingsley.
i secretly will always want to make movies. it was my college major to write them. if i could make movies they would all be like crank2 but gooder.
ive started to read dc (zombie ringz) having given up on marvel (frankencastle?) but im interested to see what the siege is (the advertising art looks like old art am i wrong?) will hawkeye ever get his costume back? ive been a fan of hawkeye since i was pre teen. i have a bow and arrow on both my wrists because of him. david mack put mc chris on a shirt hawkeye was wearing in avengers 38. i like him cuz or maybe i related to him as a kid because his dad drank and killed both himself and hawkeye's mom in a drunk driving accident. later hawkeye would run away from an orphange and join the circus, where he was trained to be awesome. now he's like this huey p newton guy who went all columbine on the green goblin. they call him ronin. i buy ronin stuff and have a hawkeye action figure collection. mockingbird was held captive by the skrull but they're back together. which rules but i miss her old outfit.
100 bullets is the best comic ever made. and why hasnt someone optioned "the boys?" its beggin for a big screen version.
i still like harry potter a lot and get excited for all the movies and the the hogwarts section of universal studios that's being built for 2010.
i still need to go to magic mountain and six flags new england as well as phantasia in germany. everland in south korea. and hershey park in PA... for obvious reasons. im stoked to do stuff in nyc now that im home, like tim burton at the moma, idiot savant with willem dafoe on broadway. i wanna do stuff like scavenger hunts at american museum of natural history. i want to geo cache. and live in tarrytown, and go to the catskills. the other day i ran across washington iriving's home in union square. new york has more hidden easter eggs than anywhere.
i think adults should be allowed to order from the kid's menu.

i cant wait for the next indiana jones movie. i also have "smoke with harrison ford in his weed teepee" on my bucket list. also on the list: see saturday night live live, meet the president, be on howard stern, get in rolling stone, build an amusement park that's halloweened out all year, make movies, have a family, have a kick ass surround sound entertainment center, go to paris, trace my family tree in counties cork and limerick. visit alsace lorraine. visit japan. go to alaska. kill santa claus. my bucket list is huge.
i like anything disney. it's fun to look for hidden mickeys in the national treasure movies. im always lookin for mickeys! i wanted to work for them ever since i was little. i may love the super corn ball live action stuff in an ironic indie hipster manner (if u dont count the tears) but the princess and the frog was fuckin cool and trippy as fuk and still top of line. i'll always love the top of the line.
on a day off on tour we go to the mall. i go buy shirts at spencers and hot topic. and i eat all the free bourbon chicken samples. and i weigh myself at gnc. u cant get free bourbon chicken samples in nyc.
my fav games are crackdown, ratchet and clank, bully, re3, tekken 2, ctr, uncharted, modern warfare2 and oblivion. i also liked rootbeer tapper and colonel's bequest and karateka.
everything should be action movies and every thing should have a haunted house level, a graveyard level and an abandoned amusement park level. standard.
some of my fav movies are it's a wonderful life, the apartment, blues brothers, baby doll, rear window, his girl friday, breaking away, goonies, footloose, return of the jedi, fresh, one false move, let the right one in, the great muppet caper, delicatessen, the lives of others, murmur of the heart, hud, on the waterfront, sweet smell of success, meatballs, cape fear. i could really just name off movies i like forever. some movies that ive rediscovered as of late are harold and maude and little shop of horrors. adventureland, cloudy with a chance of meatballs, and the fatastic mr. fox were my favs in 2009.

athf still kicks ass and makes me laugh. and it's cool to see little things i drew in the past like boxy brown pop up. listen for me in an upcomming ep. super jail is one of the most beautiful things in the world and im always elated during the opening. i wanna see all those little scenes so bad but u fly right by them. im very thankful that people watch these shows and that they still play reruns of me and that people are still into it. i feel blessed and i thank my past employers for the all the opportunities given. ill never forget it. the best way i can think to repay is to make a kick ass show of my own and we're working on it. slow and steady wins the race! we're talking with titmouse animation about a music video in 2010. also good news! i like screening movies in austin texas at the alamo drafthouse. we've screened temple of doom, ghostbusters, cloak and dagger, galaxy quest, honey i shrunk the kids with all three roger rabbit cartoons, bill and ted's excellent adventure and, most recently, gremlins. i could do it forever and there's a part of me that wants to live there. i hate the sun though. best popcorn in the world.
i love popcorn and my mom would have a giant bowl airpopped for me when id come home from a day of insults and other random hardships at st.jospeh's catholic school in libertyville, il. id eat the buttery goodness and watch inspector gadget and it was one of the happiest times of my life, there after school. now im addicted to popcorn and i have this weird allergic reaction to it. i get this flushed popcorn fever and sweat profusely. i get popcorn everytime i go to the movies. angelika or film forum has the best popcorn in nyc. i worked at film forum my senior year at nyu screenwriting school.
im very irish, but i got some alsatian in me, so im like three parts guinness one part champagne. i really love potatoes and the shade and being addicted to shit.
when i tour i eat super healthy and no fast food. unless there's sonic. i like the way they microwave cheese on top of the tots. i like the diet cherry limeade. i like me some texas toast, im not gonna deny it. we also love steak and shake, because of their cheese fries as well and their double dipper milk shakes, half vanilla half peanut butter please.

i am very lucky to do what i do. the recession isnt touching me when i know it's touched so many others. so im happy to be working, rapping and geeking out. i had a kick ass year and i fear the amount i owe the irs.
i love my family even though it can be difficult for me sometimes. i have a hard time letting go of the past. you find in times of crisis bullshit doesnt matter, i will always fight for them and i will always raise money for cf. because blood is thicker than water as they say. and they made me who i am, and i like me, so im thankful. my dad has been battling cancer all year so i am very thankful for my dad and i love him a hundred times. i hope he gets to see me accomplish some great things. i hope he can see me get married and maybe have a kid. i hope he can see a movie of mine.
