Haha, well in all honesty, I don't think many people really understand black metal. They're either totally turned off because of what happened in Norway, don't take it seriously because of the corpsepaint, or aren't mature enough to understand that the music isn't just senseless shrieking. I'd take that terrible retro thrash over the prominent deathcore scene over here though. Hell, like half of Pleasanton's dominated by scene kids these days who think it's only important to be br00tal and fawn over frontmen who look like five-year-old scene girls.
And wow, two years ago? That's pretty impressive considering you guys look around my age.
I've actually heard of Nihlotep from Scott but haven't had the time to check them out yet, but I'll be sure to do that. Can't wait though!
And thanks :). I haven't updated my music section in a while, but Absu are definitely one of my favorites. I've been listening to a lot of old school lately too, but if I start talking about music on here, I'll end up flooding your band's comment board haha.
No need for that no more, i went to the DNA lounge website and i see they are selling the tickets there. and sure i'll check em up, but I am not so good to keep up with a talented band so that sucks for me but oh well i still need to work way harder on my skills.
We don't have a name yet. We have all the members except another solid guitarist and a possible bassist on the side. We were thinking of keys, but its still to young to really tell. We will be a live band as soon as we get a steady practice schedule. Expect big things though.
So I basically lost hope in the Bay Area scene a while ago with the bands around Pleasanton (... figures, haha), but you guys are really fuckin' amazing. You're actually probably the first band I've ever accepted a request from. Pretty ironic too, considering I was just talking with Jeff Becerra about how much the Bay Area scene sucks these days compared to how it was in the 80's. I'd love to go see you guys at the DNA Lounge next weekend, but with my mom's current menopausal state and my lack of a car, I doubt it'll happen. Are you guys planning any other local shows soon?

Well from what i know you guys gotta somehow contact the venue to place yourselves in the opening list. to bad urgehal played already this past monday.
I just notice you guys will be playing the DNA lounge i'll be there even thou i hate those asshole of DNA lounge they kick me out for a stupid reason. but surely i'll be there.
we would very much like to be a live band, but we can't find any members. you keep up the good music as well, and keep the ancient cult death metal alive.
