You will need your own drum kit...in an exceptional case the band may buy a drum kit if required.
I promoted James Harrison for a year and a half.....from live mic at Solid Air in March 05 to Mr Kyps in Nov 06... then took a break in January 07 to listen to everyone else's music in Bournemouth...now it's the next phase...hanging out with lots of brilliant Bournemouth musicians, gigs, 'Devil may Care' James Bond competition entry from James Harrison, learning loads at work, helping to run the Chaplins 'Live and Acoustic Music on Sundays' with James Harrison, and generally keeping it all together!!
If your free this firday please come and support us at the Metropole, B'mouth. Its FREE entry, open till 3am and cheap drinks. Hope you can make it, its gonna be a rocktastic partying night! Oh yeah!
James Harrison has a residency at Chaplins on Sundays and always surprises us with his new original songs and covers from great song writers like Paul McCartney, Queen, Steve Harrison, Billy Joel, Ben Cornish, John Lennon, Si Genaro, Cat Stevens, ELO, Pete Christie, The Beatles, Dire Straits, The Genaro Project and Bill Bailey. James also does all the sound throughout the night.
Suzy was born in a forest and spends most her time singing to the trees and listening to their stories.
Jimmy isn't a mute but rarely speaks out loud. He whispers occasionally through his guitar. Together they translate stories into songs and bring the trees to the towns.
Manchester Blues legend & multi-instrumentalist Victor Brox has played alongside the likes of B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix, Charlie Mingus, John Mayall, Eric Clapton, Alexis Korner, Keith Moon & Nico to name a few as well as being a key band member in Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation & has led his own Victor Brox Blues Train band for many years. He continues to gig around the world & makes a rare appearance in Dorset this weekend. Don't pass over this chance to see one of the last of the great music eccentrics ever.
Come and join us for a realy fun nite of great music

Hi Fi Had a lovely night at Chaplins Sunday was gr8 to catch up with u. Although I was rather tender from O'Niels it was nice to be relaxed n entertained at the same time. I'm full of Chads virus :( was up all night with him being sick. We've both slept most of today. It's a real nasty one that gets into your bones :( I'm just relieved he's got it now, not next week as he's got all his SATs tests next week at school. I usually get over colds pretty quick so I'm hoping it will certainly be gone by the end of the week! Well honey it really was a delight to see you again and you looked as stunning as ever. Hope to catch you soon sweety, take care & be happy Big luvz H :) x
