    Our Group, THE MEGATONS, is playing Rock and Roll, Rockabilly, in a Wild and Whiterock style. Whiterock music was played in late 50's early 60'S by exuberant teenagers, enjoyed fellow for most of them in the big industrialized cities of the North of the United States which explains mostly this type of music, with saturated guitar to the contrary of the Rockabilly style which is much more acoustic and nearer of its original roots coming from the South of the United States. The sound and the rhythm are in an electric guitar, reverb, heavy bass and drums, syncopated rhythm and treble vocal style. The Megatons was created on 2009 in Paris, France and is composed of 5 musicians having various experiences with different groups since the eighties. We started to produce ourselves as of the end of 2009 on various stages of Paris and its suburbs. We played as guest for: King Baker Combo, Hot Rhythm and Booze, The Atomics, The Caezars. Our set list is composed of around 30 titles which are renewed on a continuous basis . Nous sommes THE MEGATONS, groupe Rock and Roll, Rockabilly, dans un style Wild et Whiterock Le Whiterock était joué fin 50 début 60 par des teenagers exubérants, vivants, pour la plupart, dans les grandes cités urbaines du nord des Etats-Unis ; dans des villes très industrialisées. Ce qui explique un peu le coté électrique et saturé des guitares ou le vocal hurlé, au contraire du Rockabilly (plus acoustique et plus près de ses racines) venant des états du Sud. Le son et le rythme sont dans un style, guitare électrique au son criard, réverbe, basse et batterie lourde, rythmique syncopée, vocal poussé dans l'aigu, rythme plutôt appuyé. Notre formation crée en 2009 à Paris en France, ce compose de 5 musiciens ayant chacun eu d'autres expériences avec différents groupes de la scène Rockab et Rock and Roll depuis les années 80 Nous avons commencé à nous produire fin 2009 sur les scènes de la région parisienne seul ou en première partie d'autre groupes : King Baker Combo, Hot Rhythm and Booze, The Atomics, The Caezars. Notre répertoire est composé d'une trentaine de morceaux, que nous enrichissons en permanence.
