Till Rohmann, AKA Glitterbug, is a DJ, producer, artist, curator and and and. Being an odd bird since birth, Glitterbug creates his own unique mishmash of sounds, combining experimental techno with the racket and hum of his surrounding world of pink sparkling clouds and deteriorating social order. His music could be best described as “oh my! That’s so sad, beautiful and groovy – but what genre would you call it?” Never strictly following known paths or sounds, one has to be curious to understand what a Glitterbug is all about, and the more patience and time you have, the more surprises that pop out.
Glitterbug has spent much of his time in the past years in Jerusalem where together with his partner in crime Ronni ‘Macaroni’ Shendar, they have initiated, produced and curated the festival / platform / label c.sides (www.csides.net), together with a lot of support and love from their surrounding.
2008 will be a very exiting year for glitterbug: rumors say that in the early fall 2008, his debut album will finally be released, accompanied with amazing remixes by Barbara Morgenstern and Lawrence. Stay tuned for further news...
