I love being outdoors. Hiking, Gardening (even though I'm really bad at it and could probably kill a plastic plant) and Playing Soccer with my Basset Hound, LuLu.
My idea of bliss is being with my family and friends chatting and enjoying some fresh baked goods (see below). We eat and talk about things so utterly ridiculous that someone usually laughs so hard they spray coffee from their nose. Good times people, good times!
I have a passion for baking. I don't do a whole lot of things really well but one of them is definately baking. Am I bragging? Maybe. Or maybe I'm a kick-ass baker...
Music
I'm into mainly Rock. Alternative, Classic, Southern, Country, etc. Basically, if it has the word rock in the category, I'm good. I'll even listen to cheesy 70's lite-rock sometimes. Ok, since I'm confessing some of my guilty pleasures I might as well go for more. Occasionally, when I'm in a "mood" I listen to Phil Collins. Not the Disney Movie Phil Collins the Genesis, Sussudio, Phil Collins. And I'm not ashamed of it! Well, maybe just a little.
Movies
Silents and everything from the 30's especially pre-code era films. Jean Harlow, Clara Bow, Clark Gable and Spencer Tracy are truly golden. The only current films I honestly enjoy are westerns and comedies. "This is Spinal Tap" is one of my absolute favorite movies. Drummers that spontaneously combust. Classic!
Television
Any news program ( I never miss Bob Schieffer. I may be in love with him.) and Pro Wrestling. Yes, I said Wrestling. I've been a fan since my Granny took me when I was little and I still love it.
Books
Nabokov, Dostoyevsky, Rand, Fitzgerald, Bronte, Austen...
My beloved Faulkner and Williams.
I also like Autobiographies and Biographies. I just finished David Stenn's "Bombshell, the Life and Death of Jean Harlow" and loved "Runnin' Wild" about Clara Bow.

Hehe, that just reminded me of the gringe. Maybe cos it's getting nearer to xmas and I don't really feel in the festive mood. We've just had builders in and the place is in a mess so I've got a lot of cleaning to do.
