Mel mann synthesizes his musical search extremely influenced by the indietronic and the post rock, in the following formula: ethereal, melancholy and introspective songs, with electronic elements, emulating organic textures. In his live shows, always thematic, the projections in scene occupy an important place, with photographers' images as Nan Goldin, William Klein, Nobuyoshi Araki or painters as Francis Bacon, combining the force of the visual impact with the almost placid sensation of his music, creating a worrying concept.
After years of experiences in bands of industral t and noise, Mel mann came to the conclusion that "one works better on their own". In the spring of 2005 he realease his first disc, Kyoko inspired by The Box, I cut of the Japanese Takashi Miike in the movie Three Extremes, with influences of groups like Tindersticks, Julee Cruise, Four Tet, Godspeed you Black Emperor!, Tortoise, or the sonorous bands of Angelo Badalamenti, in a totally independent form and distributed in specialized record stores. His second album is in process right now.
In May, 2006, his first show comes, as semifinalist of a contest organized by the magazine The Inrockuptibles and the French Alliance, with good acceptance of the public. Then, he continues appearing live in diverse stages, taking part of Festivals as Jurassic Escape in the Museum of Natural Sciences, where he includes one of his songs in the compiled "Opened Study" managing to realize a visit to Chile, with shows in Santiago and Valparaiso and obtaining an honourable mention in the recognized site: http: // super45.cl/..
Mel Mann has realized a recent European tour by Vienna, Koln ( C O POP FESTIVAL ); Berlín , Hamburg, París, Bordeaux, London , Barcelona y Madrid.

En sus shows en vivo, siempre temáticos, las proyecciones en escena ocupan un lugar importante, con imágenes de fotógrafos como Nan Goldin, William Klein, Nobuyoshi Araki o pintores como Francis Bacon, combinando la fuerza del impacto visual con la sensación casi plácida de su música, creando un concepto inquietante.

Almost Tomorrow is the third full length collaboration album from Section 27 Netlabel founders Tam Ferrans and Andrew Paterson, under their Nonima & theAudiologist guise. This time around the sound is more melodic, and has a definite feeling of a complete and more mature sound than heard on the previous LP's "Dystopian Battle Hymns" and "Ceremony After Amputation". If you are familiar with their individual projects you may even be in for a slight surprise, as the tracks are not as beat driven like before, but are more atmospheric and sound, well... "bigger". In its 75 minutes, Almost Tomorrow takes you on a trip from the digital rain-soaked cavernous scraping in "Thoughtograph", the ethereal beat jittering of "The Colour of Rain", intercepted transmissions from unknown places in "Com-Intercept", "Ganzfeld"s huge yet strangely insect-like beats until everything you knew comes crashing around you in "Almost Tomorrow". Burning pianos, glitched out soundscapes and intricately programmed beatplay, this may well be their best work to date. Consider it the soundtrack to a rainy overcast day, but with just that glimmer of sunshine peeking from the clouds. "Almost Tomorrow" wears its heart on its sleeve.
