Who are the Melodic Drifters? ------ Allenmichael Simon (vocals & guitar) Allenmichael has roots in New Orleans, LA, and has been in Austin since 1986. He has spent his entire life writing original songs and has been singing in local cover bands for 20 years . Allenmichael is glad to finally have the opportunity to share his songs with you.

Darren Lovio (lead guitar) Darren has roots in Eldora, IA. Darren came to Austin in 1996 after attending 1 yr at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. He also has two years formal classical & flamenco guitar training. Darren has 20 years experience playing rock,blues,funk and country music.

Matt "Doc" Cannon (drums) Doc has roots in Indiana and has been playing drums since the age of 10. He has played in a wide variety of tribute and cover bands in California and Texas. Main influences are Kiss, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Rush, Sweet, Kansas, ELO & Alice Cooper. "It's been a long road that has led me here. I am proud to be the percussionist for this amazing group of talent and am looking forward to traveling this new road. Melodic Drifters has established themselves as a true Rock & Roll band with a large fan base. I cannot wait to meet and entertain you all. Now it's my chance to be the Rock to your Roll!"

Dustin Cannon (bass, vocals) Dustin has roots in Las Cruces, NM. He started out as the lead singer in a talent show cover band. He first picked up the bass guitar in 2004. Dustin moved to Austin in 2008 and started learning music theory and chord progressions. He is currently studying Studio Engineering at ACC to enhance his music career. Influences are Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Nickelback & Disturbed.
