A new dawn arises for our three ever sharp dressed friends. In an overwhelming four year crusade, we've seen them building a sonic bridge between contemporary dance sounds and indie rock with striking results. Setting the mood right on their debut album"The Grey Light" and taking almost every major Dutch venue and festival by storm. Boosted into new directions by their peers remixing the "Grey Light" tracks on the follow - up "Remixed" album, they subsequently revamped their already exuberant live performance, leaving even more audiences awestruck.
In 2009 it was time for Jeroen, Guido and newly recruited drummer Hans to meet their own standards and go beyond them. Freshly equipped with a redefined righteousness MeloManics worked on new songs throughout the whole year. In october the three song "Spices EP" was released, together with the Spices video by Belgian artist Stan van Steendam. The MeloManics also delivered a track for vodka brand Absolut, to accompany their limited edition "Absolut Rock" bottle. The MeloManics then embarked on a ten-date tour throughout the Netherlands as part of dutch dj Joost van Bellen's Greatest Rock and Rave Circus. In the meantime sail has been set for the release of their second album early 2010. Their sophomore effort will culminate in hard driven, funky beats and cutting edge pop in anyway imaginable, making you people get down, dance and rejoice.
