About this time last year the guys in Memphis May Fire were poised and ready to hit the ground running in support of the their new record, "Sleepwalking". They didn't just hit the ground running, they shook every city to pieces with their unique brand of hardcore and rock. Known for their amazing live show, the guys set out with a brand new record and a new passion to convert anyone and everyone along the way; and in doing so, gained the long-deserved respect from their peers and fans alike.

To say "Sleepwalking" was a success was an understatement. It received rave reviews from critic after critic and dispelled any disbelief in a band who had taken time off to regroup. Alternative Press gave them a 3.5 out of 5 saying, "They are an impressive young band" and massive music reviewer Sputnik Music noted that "… Memphis May Fire may very well have created their breakout album that could launch them into fame. Here's to hoping MTV doesn't get a whiff of this". In the following months since "Sleepwalking" debuted, every single fan who was captivated by Matt Mullins' commanding presence on stage became a fan for life. As they've been quoted as saying before, the boys in Memphis May Fire set out to play "just fun, fast music we wanted to have fun playing live", if they only knew how far that simple passion would take them.

In late April after 20 hours on a plane, Memphis May Fire touches down outside of Tokyo and begins their takeover of Japan. Every night is sold out. Every fan wants more. "It was amazing" says guitarist and original member Kellen McGregor, "…the best time of my life." The band is set to destroy the UK and most of Europe this October, they simply can't be stopped.

Where do they go from here you ask? Up. Reunited with original member Ryan Bentley, the guitar duo promise a mind blowing new EP is on the way. Combining the raw aggression of the self titled EP, the mature songwriting and powerful messages of Sleepwalking, and a new passionate heaviness that they're not sure the world is ready for, Memphis May Fire are single handedly set to make 2011 the best year of your life.
