About me: Host of the wildly popular online satirical news broadcast, “ChabadTUBE" (www.ChabadTUBE.com), quickly up-and-coming Chassidic comic Mendy Pellin was born to a Hassidic family in Denver, CO. He spent most of his childhood growing up in Crown Heights, NY, home of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement. At age 7, he was already learning the tricks of the trade at a local puppet theater, but quickly moved on to baffle crowds all around the globe. With nothing like his show in the Jewish world and over 50,000 viewers per broadcast, Mendy has found his calling in the synthesis of Hassidic spirituality and out-of-the-box humor. He aims to overcome stereotypes commonly attributed to ultra-Orthodox Jews, and unite all of Jewry through joy, laughter and love. Mendy is also co-writer for a sitcom due to premier in several months. Mendy and his wife, Shulamit, were married at the end of March 2007.
Thank you for "friending" me, Mendy. I go WAY back with your father... back to around 1973, when he and "Shtool" and R' Levitansky (zt"l) and R' Cunin were the only ones at Chabad of Westwood, back when it was a frat house.
