    ...... .... Le groupe Messengers s'est constitué en 2006 autour du charismatique Paul Morgan, chanteur venu d'Angleterre pour s'installer dans le sud de la France... De père Nigérien et de mère Jamaïcaine, Paul grandit à Nottingham (UK). C'est en 1981, alors âgé de 20 ans, qu'il participe à sa première tournée comme claviériste de Burning Spear. De cette rencontre est né son goût pour la composition ainsi que sa première formation : Far Image, qui se produira avec Steel Pulse, Aswad, ou encore Culture... Guidé par sa soif de découverte et de rencontres, Paul Morgan arrive à Marseille en 2004. Sous le soleil de Provence, il trouve l'inspiration et, accompagné de ses musiciens, il commence à écrire et composer..... En 2009 Messengers sort un premier 4 titres. S'appuyant sur une base roots, dans la plus pure tradition Jamaïcaine, aussi bien que sur des mélodies de guitares acoustiques évoquant parfois la folk ou la pop anglaise, les textes conscients de Paul Morgan ont trouvé un corps pour porter leurs messages..... ..--------------------------------------------------------------------- ...... Messengers was formed in 2006 around Paul Morgan, the charismatic singer who came from England to live in south of France... Nigerian father and Jamaican mother, Paul grew up in Nottingham (UK). It was in 1981, at 20 years old, that Paul took part in his first tour as a pianist for Burning Spear. It was this meeting that gave Paul the taste to compose and thus created his first formation, Far Image. His group played with groups such as Steel Pulse, Aswad and Culture... Guided by his thirst for discovering, Paul arrived in Marseille in 2004. Under the Provence sun, he found inspiration and accompanied by musicians, started to write and compose..... In 2009, Messengers will release their first album.
