Between the three members there is a wide variety of musical influences, which brings a very interesting sound to MFM. The band spends three nights a week writing and practicing.
With a powerful Metal sound combined with melodic vocals Metal Funk Melon will have something for every fan of Rock music to enjoy. Now four years in the making MFM has enjoyed being guest on local radio stations with great response from listeners, as well as hitting top ten charts on regional college stations throughout the southeast.
Hard work and dedication to their craft pays off in 2009 as Metal Funk Melon lands on their first International Top Ten list with FRAILTY coming in at number 4 for the month of January. With a great start to 2009 MFM is looking forward to the release of two full length CDs and continuing success on radio stations around the region with new songs for listeners to enjoy.
