Metroplex was founded in Detroit, USA 1985 by Juan Atkins. Juan recorded his first single and Metroplex’ first single as Model 500, the track known as NO UFO’s. Metroplex singles like ‘Night Drive’, ‘Interference’ and ‘The Chase’ also sold well and set the mood of techno coming out of Detroit.
