Check out my blog. Lots of free music and fun if not important updates.
I'm Chris Rehm and I'm trying to get back at this a little bit.
The music I will put here varies is sound and style, but it's what I do.
Click on the CD cover if you want a copy of either of my first two full-lengths. My second full-length is on iTunes.
I know the fact that I have three musical names here is silly, so here's the explanation:
My first full length "I Am The Hot Potato...I Hope You Work Out" was released under the name "Afrodisiac", but due to the fact that Brandy has a song with that same title, I felt compelled to change my name to avoid being drowned in a sea of Brandy on Google.
My second full-length "What Had Happened Was" was released under the name "Afrodisiaction". This was my attempt to avoid confusion with Brandy (given our music is so similar) but it just came off super silly (in a way, reflective of the music on the album) and it was even more difficult to spell than the first.
A little while before I put out WHHW, I was asked to make a song for a compilation for the arts magazine Esopus, and to avoid the Brandy-induced confusion (and before I came up with Afrodisiaction), I submitted my song as "Chris Rehm".
In hindsight, I should have kept that name, because that's what it is now and that's what it will be untill the end of time. This will be my medium of releasing any music I make that is not associated with a band or group of musicians. ENJOY!
My latest full-length (an experimental instrumental ambient album) is available for free on my Bandcamp page. Check it out!
Seeing as how RiffTiffs and Caddywhompus are my favorite bands, I don't know how I havnt listened to much of this solo stuff. This is definetely as amazing as your two bands for sure. Where could I get a copy of this stuff?
hi, just to say we haven't forgotten about you, just caught up in coursework being back at school again, so will call as soon as possible, thanks mollie & nat
Hi again, Just a quick question, me and my friend are starting a small magazine/fanzine type thing and we were wondering if you'd be interested in just answering a few questions for us if we sent them to you and featured you in it, it's nothing huge and at the moment will just be circulated around friends and the local area but we'd really appriciate it and we'd love to get more people around where we live to hear your music. Thanks and no worries if you don't want to, Mollie and Nat
