ampbox	Feb 13 2008 5:42 AM Correcto are a band from glasgow that Domino Records describe as "the best art school punk band that we've come across for some time." Front man Danny Saunders is joined by internationally acclaimed artist Richard Wright on guitar, Patrick (of The Royal We/ Sexy Kids fame) on bass and Paul Thomson (from a little band you might have heard of called Franz Ferdinand) on drums. Their sound is something we really can't get enough of and are so excited to have them play. XVECTORS are from edinburgh and having released their first single on Optimo's OSCarr label to great press response were invited to join The Klaxons on their 2007 euopean tour. Now with their debut album to be released on the legendary Blast First (petite) label they are ones to watch in 2008. CITY CRIME and VON TRAPP + guests will be DJing a whole assortment of music to tie the night together and bring it to a well rounded conclusion. AMPBOX aims to create a platform to promote and explore all forms of creative talent. As well as hosting a club there wil be an exhibition space, projections of animations, visuals and short films, and a shop selling work and limited edition t-shirts made by artists working in Scotland. The exhibition opens at 9 with drinks. see you there x
