im reading prince caspian right now. dunno if youve ever read a tale of two cities, but its a realllll hard read. we read it in english and without my english teacher, i wouldve been beyond lost. but going from that to caspian...given its a childrens book, i feel like im in kindergarten, haha. but ive got mere christianity sitting on my desk waiting to be read. and ive heard great things about the great divorce.
anyways, just thought it was neat how all the events in the past two to three years led up to me knowing you and then up to my senior year, recognizing your father's work. buuut yeah...heard the tapes release is gonna be a big hit?
hey man. im reading a Lewis book for my senior research paper and had to get some facts and info on him and looked some stuff up on the internet and found some stuff by your dad. made me think of you and way back when we came up there to record..good times. hope youre doing well
Hey man, how's life? I haven't been on here in a while but i just stopped by your site and man Beach House is awesome! Such a cool tune! I haven't written much in a long time but last week i jammed with a friend of mine and we came up with a cool tune, it feels good to be writing again. I'll let you hear it when it's done. Keep in touch and keep up the good work man, sounds amazing.
i love your new stuff. it's great! i really hope i will get to see you live this school year. best wishes! ~i don't have any music on my page, but i sing with jonathan torrence (i'm his girl friend)... thats where you can hear some of my stuff if you wish!
I realize that Start a Fire is no longer new, but I just listened to it, and I think it's absolutley marvelous. Oh by the way, your music is also good for listening while taking a bath or 6am walk.
Mike. I was having a pretty bum day a few days ago, and I tossed on your wonderful Family Album. I can't help but smile every time I listen to that. I almost crafted you an email. Looking forward to the new music man. How's cornerstone looking for you this year?
oh and by the way, your music keeps on fascinating me. it's beautiful. to be honest, i'm less & less attracted by classical pop music and in the meantime i find your songs so fresh & highly emotional. hope you'll get the success you deserve as soon as possible. keep up the great songwriting ! cheers !
sorry, it's been a LONG while !!! what's up ? ! ? actually, i'm still waiting for my free copy of 'the family album' !!! ;-) what are you currently listening to these days ?
on & on & on _ 'my heart has a wish that you would not go' by AEREOGRAMME, 'waiting for the dawn...' by DAKOTA SUITE & 'hurtbreak wonderland' by WORLD'S END GIRLFRIEND... hope to hear from you soon. SONOGRAPH has become a real band and fortunately we'll record soon --- it's pretty exciting !
I will come visit someday. Its really not that far! I'm just working out my summer schedule right now, but when i have it figured out, i'll have to make a trip your way and we can jam.
lalalalala, I started working on a cinderella song, I use sounds like blenders, knives, sponges...it was a regular foley session since my other member is a post-sound guy, haha. once it's done I shall have you listen and approve, or throw a tomato all the way to chicago...
Everytime i come back here to listen to a new tune, they just keep getting better. Keep it up man. I'm loving your creativity. I just finished a tune for my term project for school i'll have to send it to ya.
