Greetings friends! My name is Michael Harrell. I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee and I’m a musician. I enjoy playing instruments, writing songs and recording records. I spent most of 2008 working on my debut album Jericho Blues. It was released July 1st 2009. I am very excited for you hear it. Hey, I'm looking for volunteers for the upcoming Rock Block Program. Essentially the program meets every Saturday starting February 7th. You would be in charge a a 4-5 piece band, help them work up a set, choose a band name/band logo for t-shirts, your band will record a demo and then play a show. Each band would rehearse for 2hrs with the hours being from 10am-8pm.
I know every Saturday for 3 months can be asking a lot BUT it'll be fun.I really just need 5 people to guarantee to be there every Saturday. I'd love to have some satellite volunteers to come in as well and teach specialized topics. Drop me a line if you're interested or if you know someone how is.
