At the age of 15, Michael Wookey was given a portable pump organ which belonged to his grandfather who was an organist during World War II. This instrument inspired Michael to write some songs and to start collecting obscure instruments.
Now 25, Michael has recorded 2 albums. By using a portable studio, he has recorded in various sheds, basements and meat lockers.
He recently moved from the seaside of southern England to the red light district of Paris. The French describe his music as folk baroque.

Hey. Your set on Sunday was flaberghasting. You did really well with that crowd. A briliant rendition of Irene too. I sing that song, perhaps we could sing it together sometime? I especially enjoyed the murmers of nervous laughter from the audience. Quality. Memorable. See you soon Michael. Bless Alex
