Mick Rubin is producing music for years now. He started spinning records in Munich in the early 90ies. In 1995 he also started producing with a first project.
Until now he produced a lot of different things like TV trailer, commercials, sampling discs, filmmusic and much more.
In 2005 Mick and Oliver Koletzki became friends and they decided to put some extra work into Oliver's track „Der Mückenschwarm“ wich soon became the Clubtune of the year. The track, for which Mick did the mix and the mastering was released on cocoon records and found it's way in the Top Ten of nearly every club charts worldwide.
After this great success he remixed Oliver's "Blackout" under the pseudonym of "noir et blanc" and released his first 12 '' on Stil Vor Talent in 2006 .
His tracks „als es passierte“ and „alles tanzt nach meiner pfeife“ have been very successfull in Spain and Italy and the record even reached position 14 in the world techno charts.
During mixing other artists like La Manie, he produced various tracks for Stil Vor Talent like „Snapshot“, „Sandman Superstar“ or „Sommernachtstraum“ and got support from big names like Steve Bug, Gabriel Ananda, Miss Kitten, Karotte, Martin Eyerer, Claudio Coccolutto and many more.
In 2007 Mick got in touch with the guys of Kollektiv Turmstrasse and their label „musik gewinnt freunde“ and released „Nachts“ on mgf 03. The record was highly accepted by Djs and in the press and reached Top 5 at decks.de.
Just recently he remixed KT's current release "Holunderbaum" on mgf 04 and Chris Zippel's „As possible“ for Electrolux.
In 2008 there will be some more new tracks to be released on mgf and svt. Watch out!

am 23.5. ist es wieder soweit: die klangspirale präsentiert: elektronische tanzmusik für freundliche menschen :-) diesmal möchten wir ein phänomen würdigen, welches unser aller leben damals wesentlich erträglicher gemacht, und den meisten von uns ein gutes stück lebensfreude beschert hat: die hofpause. da 20 min. wohl kaum zum feiern ausreichen, haben wir uns für die super extended version fsk 18+ im direktors cut entschieden.
