Micky Green is back 2 years after White T-Shirt with a new album: Honky Tonk, to be released in the beginning of 2010.
Once again recorded by Renaud Letang (Feist, Manu Chao, Peaches, Jamie Lidell...), once again carried by a glamorous pop and simple, sensitive melodies. But Honky Tonk has more to it and stands out with complex and groovy arrangements, combining vintage piano and horns.
The first single "T.L." is the perfect example of this sensual revolution: Do you know a lot of songs where AC/DC, Erykah Badu et The Bee Gees play together without stepping on each others feet? True Love!
