MMR are a friendly bunch who come from all over Teesside to play roller derby.
We've been going since September 2007 and are currently training for our first bout and looking for new skaters...don't worry if you haven't skated in years or have never done it at all, we can teach you how!
Do I need my own skates?
Eventually, yes, but if you want to come and find out what we're about, your first visit is FREE.
You can come and watch , or skate - bring your own or lend some of our limited number of spare skates.
If you keep on coming and want to do drills and scrimmage
you'll need a pair of quad derby skates, padding for knees, elbows, wrists, a helmet and a mouthguard......these are all certain types which we can recommend and show you where to get, and info on what to buy is also in our blog!
Where are we?
The Middlesbrough Milk Rollers currently practise on Saturday afternoons and Wednesday evenings at The Rainbow Leisure Centre in Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough.
What about boys?
Only girls can skate with us BUT we also have spaces for Refs, Scorekeepers, and Announcers.
