Mike and Solveig met one day as neighbours in a Glasgow flat. Being a fine fiddler, Solveig was asked by Mike to join his band The Pendulums.
Now, as we all know the Pendulums are on holiday at the moment, so Mike and Solveig decided to form something a bit different. First of all they went down to the Village o' Kirkmichael and sat in a tree to write a song about the Small Horses they'd met earlier. This was the beginning of their journey which would take them through a wishing well to meet the yodelling cowboy, spiral into the air with Idris, eat ravioli and record a hit album ( coming soon ! )
Sounds to me like a new limb is growing and the music would be a fine addition to the kerrville folk fest. Send a new folk entry in March. I'll remind you. Be great to have you all around the Crow's Nest next spring...

I played at someone's flat on Wednesday which I think was when you played somewhere else. Are you still in Berlin? Sad to say I'm back in England. It's jolly nice to listen to your music though. And I'm going to try to get up to Scotland next time my spirit feels like a wander. Might be good to play some music together too... Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Love your compositions, so warm and lively, so many twists and turns you can never really predict where it's gonna go, they sound quite complicated to me, yet you pull them off perfectly. Nice "live ambience sounds" too, makes me feel like I'm there in the crowd with hot cuppa chai;-) Keep up the good work!
