Clark went on to do production work on three more Kid Rock albums, including his first No. 1 Billboard album, 2007’s “Rock-N-Roll Jesus,” for Atlantic Records. One of Clark’s first jobs in the business was working as an assistant engineer on “Wild Leaves,” the B-single of Patti Smith’s post-punk anthem “People Have The Power” from her “Dream Of Life” album (Arista).
