About me: Dear All,
my name's Mike and I write books. You can buy my books in shops at which point they will cease to be *my* books and become *your* books. So far I've had eight published with Hodder and Stoughton: My Legendary Girlfriend, Mr Commitment, Turning Thirty, Dinner For Two, His 'n' Hers, Brand New Friend, Wish You Were Here and The Life and Soul of The Party.
In my spare time I like to mooch, stare out of the window or watch TV. I'm crazy like that. Anyway be good to each other.
cheers
Mike
PS. Book number nine, (my first foray into non-fiction) The To Do List is out now!
PPS. I also have a website: mikegayle dot co uk
Who I'd like to meet: Ferris Bueller, Michael Mann and myself coming the other way (how weird would that be bumping into yourself?)

I'm 3/4 of the way thru The To Do List and enjoying every minute.
You have inspired me to get all of those little jobs out of the way like sorting out passwords for stuff that I have forgotten and changing our address on our re-directed mail so we can at some point end the service. I also have to make lists because since having my second daughter who is now 4 and constantly on the go my memory is terrible and if I don't do things the instant I think of them I forget it. I even managed to forget our evening wear this weekend for a party that we had to travel to birmingham for. We had to go shopping for new stuff and I was gutted, I didn't realise I'd forgotten it until we got onto the M42. Doh!
Hey! I'm Helen and I'm nearly finished your biography, The To-Do List. It's an amazing book, and you're a fantastic writer. After University I would love to become an author and I've been told that some of my writings are really good but I'm scared I wont get anywhere with it :-( i was wondering if you could share some hints and tips? How did you manage to get your career started? Hope to hear from you soon, best wishes, Helen x
Hey Mike, thanks for the add. I have just read The Life & Soul... and absolutely loved it. You have a very unique style of writing. Thanks for another great book!
My hubby brought me the new book for our 1st wedding anniversary because 1 years meaning/gift is paper. Awww sweet
Anyhow I finished the book on monday night and I have to confess I got a bit teary at the end as with all the books I've felt completley transported into the story. It was brilliant!!!
