m.gervais is not just any electronic craftsman hard at work. Crisp multi-layered blasts with bizarre clicks, whirs, and whoops snap out of his brain and into your speakers. A computer programmer whiz with an ear for all things slammin, he applies his acquired knowledge to pumping techno stormer science. Like the other members of the Time Fog crew, his knack for production comes from years of experience behind the decks. Under the DJ name of Mike G he continues to log limitless hours concocting dancefloor intensity for cued up crowds. Mike has always been performing using the most cutting edge of DJ technology - an early adopter of three decks, then outboard effects, to final scratch and traktor. His current rig is ahead of the game, with adept use of four channels of audio in traktor and a midi controller which give him complete control over the music with custom on-the-fly edits and effects. His precision in the mix and the studio translate to support from the biggest names in dance music. Challenging audiences to move slinging a razor sharp beat effortlessly blended with classic techno style and any number of tricks up his sleeve.

Christian James is the third Minneapolis gangster to be featured in Solar Cathedral's series of Twin City Techno Producers. It's back to the underground with 'Peninsula Of Masculinity', an artist debut, jam packed with thick stompers from beginning to end. Tricky percussion programming, bumping bass kicks & snapping snare drums peppered with funky synth stabs and occasional melodies are what make this LP a must for the warehouse party rockers. Add this release to your collection and use these tunes to BEAT THE BOX.
