Mike Schmid is an award-winning singer/songwriter and classically-trained pianist with a degree in songwriting from Berklee College of Music in Boston. His self-titled debut album was unleashed upon the world in 2001, and since then no one has been able to contain their excitement.
He has played with Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, Kenna, Chantal Kreviazuk, Van Hunt, Aly & AJ, The Corrs as well as many independent singer/songwriters.
His songs can be heard on the Felicity Season Four DVD set, The Black Donnellys Season One DVD set and on various television shows including All My Children, Friday Night Lights, and The Bad Girls Club.
In 2006, he released a big fat epic called "The High Cost of Living (A Love Story)" and a tiny little EP called "Snow Day." His new album, "The House We Built" (which falls somewhere in between), features a new recording of "Forget You," the best-selling download of the year for 2007 on broadjam.com.
