MINDFEEDER is a Heavy Metal Band from Portugal influenced by the European Power Metal and by progressive metal current.
Formed in the end of 2002 by the name of Inertia, the band started to make some gigs around their hometown.
In the end of 2003 the band changed their name to Mindfeeder and recorded their first demo untitled "Rise From The Flames".
Around a year later and after they win their first band contest [summer 2004] and have made their first TV Appearance [January 2005], MINDFEEDER would be selected to represent Portugal with the song "The Traveller Of Minds" taken from the 2003 demo in a European Heavy Metal Contest where names like Altaria from Finland, Manticora from Denmark or Dragonforce from England among 40 other also hailed.
The Portuguese band managed to get a 7th place with 6.3 out of 10 points against the 6.9 from the winning band.
By the end of 2005, MINDFEEDER started the recording of their new EP entitled "Mind Revolution" and released in June 2006. The EP was produced by Nuno Loureiro from Painstruck, mastered by Mika Jussila from Finnvox Studios and graphic art from Augusto Peixoto [Oratory, Cycles, Shadowsphere, Attick Demons, Exawatt (Ita.) among others].

aplastantemente no sólo la final española, sino también la alemana, volvemos a
la carga. La idea es demostrar en la final que si en algún sitio se hace buen
metal, es aquí, y que ya va siendo hora de que nos hagan un huequito en la
escena internacional, pues las bandas españolas tienen mucho que decir.

Para os interessados em adquirir o album "Infernum Liberus EST", passo a comunicar que estamos num período de pré-encomendas. O álbum custará 7 euros + portes de envio (depende da localização) para quem reservar uma das cópias durante esta primeira fase. Após a data de lançamento (que está prevista para meados de setembro) o albúm custará 10 euros + portes de envio. Esta primeira edição de pré-temporada está limitada a 100 exemplares, que poderão ser reservados através do seguinte e-mail:
