MySpacea place for friends

After intensive work in the studio, the band was able to publish their long awaited debut album "Breathing Avenue" in May 2004. As well as receiving excellent reviews from their friends and family, critics have also claimed their album "to be one of the best Electro-Pop albums I’ve heard in a long time" (www.depechemode.de). This positive feedback has allowed the band to play their first gigs at various concerts and festivals allowing them to support famous bands such as, The Crüxshadows, Psyche and Spektralized.

This exposure to the public audience further spread the word of MINERVE to other countries which greatly assisted them to license their debut album in poland, czech and hungary. The outcome of this being the release of two successful singles "High Pitched Emotions" and "Clear" which were both huge hits on the polish music scene. At the same time the band were highly promoted through radio and television which allowed a larger audience to appreciate their music.

After their first successful concerts, MINERVE were nominated and awarded a prize in the "Electro Pop 2005" category by the German Rock & Pop Association for their music, further convincing critics of their blooming potential and talent. They not only focused their efforts on concerts (with Melotron and Iris) in germany and poland but played for the first time in the netherlands.

The band continued to release new singles in January 2006, the opening being "My Universe" increasing their popularity further, working their way up to the 16th spot in the German Alternative Charts (DAC). Their placement in the charts as well as the quality of the song and remixes from established bands such as Lowe and Iris enabled them to become a stronger presence in the playlists of international Radio- and Scene DJ’s.
