Here's sum stuff people have said abooot us:
"...Ignore the horrendous name:this is hyperactivepunk/funk/ska complete with bongos, bad dancing and heaps of energy. In other words utterly superb" - THE HEARLD
"High Octave music of the first order...Punk riot fun from a band on the up" - OPTIMO
"...possibly one of the weirdest and wonderful names i have come across" - WINNING SPERM PARTY
"...they might be just a little too off the wall for there own good" - ROCK MIDGETS.com
"Destined to be one of the "Bands to Watch" in 2009" - ARTROCKER
"Show off is a rollercoaster of yelling, spoken word verses, racing rhythms and cowbells, and it's unfailingly amazing" - THIS IS FAKE DIY
"...MM and TCC's are no regular band..their music could not be considered regular either - not, atleast in the dictionanry sense of the word. It is far from compromising to rule or principle, symmetrical. It's actually pretty hard to pigeonhole" - EVENTHORIZON.com
" These Glasgow oddballs produce music as out there as their name -expect punk, funk, 50s rock & roll and ska to be mixed into a great big ball. It shouldn't really work, but it
does." - EVENING TIMES
There’s an almost embarrassing number of good local bands dishing out fine efforts this time. One name that may be familiar is Ming Ming and the Ching Chings, whose double A-side ‘Show Off’/‘OUT in the West of Scotland’ (Badly Built) ●●●● is an errant feral punk child of a song on one side and a horn-laden combination of the Mariachi style with Glasgow indie-pop on the other. It’s the first song that really makes the impression. - THE LIST
Thanks for the add Ming Ming & the Ching Chings: Hey guys, Show Off is great, I really liked it. Keep it up, I hope soon we'll be hearing more cool tunes like these two. ..
