Influences
So many... But I think I can surely tell John Zorn, Simon & Garfunkel, The Doors and Sonic Youth were greatly important for me at these times. Now it's different but they're still in my heart somewhat. Lately however I've been greatly impressed by David Pajo (Papa M, Aerial M, Pajo works), Midlake, Shannon Wright and that Espers band. I could only hope to match the potency and depth they continue to astonish me with.
I hardly consider myself as a band :D, even less a musician. Still, maybe one day I'll fit more that word, one way or another. Anyway, I had always strong interests in music, no matter what genre. I tried when I was 15 to make some but it was huh, bad timing with others events on my life back then so it didn't really make a difference on anything. More than ten years after, I haven't completly dropped practising on my own (I play guitar), and I met a very important friend who encouraged me in a way to just do what I wanted to do, not what I thought fitting to people. Quite evident maybe for you but far less for me, still an important lesson no doubt. Now I feel more and more my amateurisme is holding me back, as my wishes, ideas, means and life in general restrain what I do. I plan to figure better ways to really fit what I have in mind but I'm not sure when it will begin when I'll succeed effectively AND *IF* I'll do it + laugh. Oh well ;-D...

Hey Miranda, i have just supervised and revisited our friendlist and luckily detected you again in this mess !! Your music is actually intruding my inside. When i don´t play guitar in Fruit Cranks i always like to experiment with beats, melodies and noises and i am permanently in search of inventive, out of convention people to team up with...So i am curious for having a jam with you, maybe we can arrange a spontaneous jam concert in Belgium or Germany... would looking forward to ...Murphy...
