Mmodcat’s Biography

All four members lived in Hoolia before being forced to arrive at Bogota, Colombia. But here's the thing: Hoolia It’s not really a place per se.
Confused?
Mmodcats used to be hoolians, which are some type of beings impossible to describe in human conceptions. They where abstract beings who where sadly banned from Hoolia because of “evil behavior” and placed as humans in Earth, more specifically Colombia, as a form of punishment.
Mmodcats was born on April, 2007. Silvie Lucy-Elliot had the idea of forming a band. But she wanted to “literally make a band” so she constructed a bass herself making sure it was a “free, powerful and magical object”. Like herself.
Silvie then recruited Tántan Morgan as the singer/guitar player. Around that time, Tántan was concentrated on coming up with a plan to “destroy the world, and everything conceivable in it, without anybody ever noticing any change”, which he actually achieved.
Then Nauj Sasak (the amazing self-taught drummer) was recommended to them by a mutual friend. He became a mmodcat immediately although he didn’t say one word for the first three months. He just played the songs and between rehearsals he placed his hands on top of Tántan and Silvie’s heads for long periods of time as form of ritual.
Then, the power of the group appeared in the form of Badrok De Drag. The “lead guitarist from hell”.
He joined the group while in a weekend they spend playing songs by Tool, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin and David Bowie.
Mmodcats realized they had one general common interest:
Honest rock with a mix of British and American styles.
They call it Mod-folk.
Then, late at night, while dancing in the nude on a nearby forest, Mmodcats decided they had another thing in common: an appreciation for the beauty and truth hidden inside what some people may call "darkness".

hey felicitaciones por el toque en el teatro metro!!, me gustaron mucho, definitivamente dieron la talla para ser teloneros de los austin, me recuerdan un poco a Foxy Shazam no se porque, tal vez por el bigote y la forma caotica de moverse su vocalista :P, si no los conocen se los recomiendo :)
