Mockingbird is comprised of three good friends from Whatcom County—Robin Wallbridge, Sherrie Lutsch and Lesley Rigg—who have brought together their musical interests and diversity to form a blend of three-part a cappella harmonies straight from their hearts. They have been making music together for thirteen years and sing a delightful blend of songs, from 50’s “doo-wop” songs to songs with social justice or peace messages and from lovely ballads to humorous songs such as the audience favorite “Co-Dependent With You,” plus many originals they’ve written in the last few years. Their harmonies are beautiful and spine tingling and their arrangements highlight each of the members. Mockingbird has released four CDs—Drenched, Magic Everywhere, We 3 and A Fearless Day. They placed third at the Harmony Sweepstakes NW Regional A Cappella Festival in 2002 and won the award for best musical arrangement in 2006.
