We listen to a lot of gangster rap, 90s New York hip hop, 80s and 90s Industrial, modern and vintage garage rock. Some of our favorite musicians are Prick, 50 Cent, Chemical Brothers, Revolting Cocks, Howard Shore, Wu-Tang Clan, Pop Will Eat Itself, Scott Storch, Ministry, Dr. Dre, The Hives, Tool, The Clipse, Foetus, System of a Down, Bernard Herrmann, The Strokes, Nine Inch Nails, and DJ Shadow.
Monkey Farm Frankenstein are an American industrial hip hop band signed to British label Some Bizzare, home of some of the best synth pop, experimental and industrial music the world has ever heard. The MFF's chemical breakbeats and VHS-trash sound bites are crumpled shreds of sincerity afloat a vast sea of media punishment. Not sure what that means? Listen to the free tracks on this page and watch The MFF vs The Evil Dead - then click the album covers on the left to buy our music from Amazon.co.uk
If you would like to watch MFF vs Evil Dead offline, you can download the following file (you may need a download manager, like Alligator):

The Tragedies Seek Musicians for the First Ever “Horror Music Jam” (a benefit for our 2nd Annual Theatre du Grand Guignol) at The Village Ballroom, Friday October 5 from 8pm until late
(I apologize for this eleventh-hour post, but we are living in strange and dark times…)
We all love to be scared, right? That’s why we love horror films and the occasional live horror show, like Theatre du Grand Guignol (begins October 11th).
Most people aren’t aware of it but the success of a horror film or live show does not solely rely on the plot or the actors, it also depends on the score.
If you love music with dark atmospherics, creepy motifs, weird impressionism, stabbing rhythms, or “just for fun” Boris Pickett style monster-rock, we have the event for you! Put on your musical fangs in and do your bloody deed this Friday, October 5th with the 1st Annual Horror Music Jam, a benefit for The Tragedies’ Theatre du Grand Guingol that aims to unnerve, unsettle and thrill the way a hippie music jam wouldn’t dare undertake. Classical, folk, goth, whatever, let’s hear something that makes our skin crawl and the hairs on the back of our collective necks stand up on end!
Space and time may be limited, so please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested, willing, able and flexible. Please contact Dylan (dylzone@yahoo.com) or call The Village Ballroom 503-283-1100 for details. And please send me you contact info, including phone number.

Thanks much for the add, I LOVE your music, it's so different. I've never heard anything like it before. It's always very refreshing to hear something like that, and gives me hope that I can be original too!! Keep it up!!
