MONOLAB.have been in existence since 1992.in one form or another. Recording alot over the years... Although not much has ever been released & Live shows have always been kept to a minimum.
MONOLAB.is the main musicial project of Martin Powell. originally a Birmingham (uk) based space monky.now relocation to norway. .producing experimental music/soundscapes/noisescapes & more... Martin also work's with like minded musicians for gigs & collaborations.using mainly Theremin & old analogue synths+old effects units,tapes,electronic toys&games.old computers. anything which adds to and builds up the sound. (tape delays,feedback,noise).experimentation is the keyword.
Martin is also Involved in the following bands ... Satangora,Likvake,Zynorg,Mirie it is,Metal Moustache,Gravel Control & The Third Nipple Band. ....
Martin was also in a Trio with Cotton Casino & Billawtm called THE COSMIC SONIC TAG TEAM.
