Well, I just searched "The Mopes Seattle" and you had posted something about a show on your blog. From there your blog directed me to your myspace. Then I was showing another friend of ours your music and I saw in your pictures that you have quite a few by Vanessa Carmon who is another great friend. Vanessa photographed my wedding.
Swimming is such a lovely song, I love the lyrics and the harmonies. You must mean Adam Barr. I remember hearing about that a while ago. It's such a sad situation. I'm really sorry about your loss, he seems like he was a wonderful person, and I would imagine he'd have to be to have a song written about him as beautiful as yours. Keep me updated with new songs you post and things, I really enjoy your music a whole lot.
