As a child Mooryc used to attend to music school but did not manage to finish it. He was looking for his place in many schools actually; after highschool he was studying philosophy - he did not really finish this one either. In one-year break between studies he used to clean 130 buses a night working at bus depot and by day prepering himself for the exams on academy of music. Today his on the last, fifth year of the guitarbuilding studies and hopes he will finish it soon. He was playing on various instrumants. As a child he was lerning at music school in class of piano and percussion, after that grabed a guitar and played on it many years. Two years ago he bought himself a computer and decided to make electronic music. After last two years of constant work, experiments and reserches, he is ready to play live outside his home.

Elektroniczne zainteresowania muzyczne powiązane z potrzebą dzielenia się dobrym dźwiękiem sprawiły, że Mattias Proppe zaczyna swoja przygodę z gramofonami na początku 2000r. jako dj Empro. Djska podroż przez wszystkie gatunki muzyki elektronicznej nie trwała zbyt długo by Mattias mógł znaleźć to czego szukał naprawdę, czyli rasowe minimal techno. Pierwsze undergroundowe imprezy w jego rodzinnym mieście Berlinie, otworzyły mu szybko drogę do najlepszych klubów. Zaczął regularnie grywać w takich miejscach jak TRESOR, WATERGATE, MARIA, WMF, POLAR TV, CASINO or the PFEFFERBANK. W 2005 roku EMPRO zostaje rezydentem BAR2 , gdzie 15 godzinne maratony za gramofonami nie należały do wyjątkowych sytuacji :) To nie wszystko, Empro skutecznie działa jako animator berlińskiej sceny. W 2004 zakłada agencje MIND THE CRAP promująca najlepszych berlińskich djow. Znany też jest z takich imprez jak SLEEPLESS organizowanych na na festiwalu MELT! oraz BETRIEBSFEIER czy HOME SWEET HOME.
