It's true: there's "more" to this group than there is to most other bands. While their material and personas may convey a party-like good time and easy-going attitude, underneath lies a serious dedication to making songs that are at the top of their ability. And it's quite evident that the foursome known as MORE THAN ME embodies undeniable talent and accessibility that is a rare commodity in today's music world.
Based out of Buffalo, N.Y., the band's PowerPop/Rock sound allows them the freedom to play a wide variety of venues: from intimate acoustic coffee house, to clubs packed with hundreds of excited listeners, to larger college campus crowds, and even festival audiences of over 10,000. With over 500 shows, and at least 100,000 miles worth of national touring under their belts, the group has plenty of experience delivering a great live performance.
Throughout their nine year career, MORE THAN ME has consistently connected to their audience, at home and on the road, and have been rewarded by being able to sell over 5000 independent CD's (out of the back of their van!), while garnishing thousands of hits on the popular online site MySpace.com, and being voted "Best Original Rock Band" by the WNY Peoples Choice Awards.
