Basically the band ,Morning Silence (They use the name “Deli Gomlegi” in Turkey -means “Straitjacket” in English-) has a Grunge sound.
The band formed in 1999 in the capital city of Turkey,Ankara by the singer-guitar player-songwriter Ozver Yilmaz.
The band released 3 demo albums in Turkish and delivered them to all of the regions of Turkey.As the years go by, they became one of the famous punk-grunge underground bands in Turkey.
The band played in many festivals -including international ones like Rockistanbul,Rockstation- ,bars,clubs, and concert organizations in different cities of Turkey.
Also they took place in music magazines, underground fanzines,radio and TV programs,compilations,press and internet magazines.
They keep playing in concerts and looking for the record labels supporting pure and free music.
