Mortal Factor was founded in 26 april 2003 by the guitarists QD (ex-Incest, Profound, 784itch) and René (ex-Morgart and several small projects) from Lucerne.
Due to the different musical backgrounds a lot of ideas were tested in the first sessions. It soon became clear that the common denominator would be found somewhere in the Thrash Metal sector. A huge amount of riffs were written and recorded during the following weeks. The ideas were there, but suitable fellow combatants where still nowhere to be found, so the search began.
A motivated drummer was found in Limi (ex-Holepunch, Creative) and after several auditions Amadé (ex-Disgrace) joined the band in december 2003 to ennoble the already existing songs with his intense voice.
After a long odyssey and several auditions with different bass players Dave completed the line-up of our team.
MORTAL FACTOR wurde am 26 April 2003 durch die Luzerner Gitarristen QD (ex-Incest, profound, 784itch) und René (ex-Morgart, diverse kleinere Projekte) gegründet.
Bedingt durch die unterschiedlichen musikalischen Backgrounds wurden in den ersten Sessions etliche Ideen ausprobiert, worauf sich schnell zeigte, dass der gemeinsame Nenner irgendwo im Bereich des Thrash Metal zu finden war. In den folgenden Wochen wurden Dutzende von Riffs geschrieben und aufgenommen. Mit diesem Paket an Ideen ging es anschliessend auf die Suche nach passenden Mitstreitern.
Mit Limi (ex-Holepunch, Creat!ve) fand man einen motivierten Schlagzeuger, mit dem anschliessend die ersten Songideen ausgearbeitet wurden.
Nach längerer Suche und mehreren Auditions stiess im Dezember 2003 Amadé (Ex-Disgrace) zur Band um die bestehenden Songs mit seinem brachialen Organ zu veredeln.
Nach einer langen Odyssee und etlichen Sessions mit diversen Bassfahrern, stiess schlussendlich im Juli 2004 mit Dave ein geeigneter Tieffrequenzquäler zur unserer illustren Truppe.MORTAL FACTOR…
