MORTE MACABRE music...a memorial for those who've gone past to the other side and a celebration of life and artistic beauty and memories for the ones left behind.
MORTE MACABRE is a band that consists of members from Dungen, Anekdoten and Paatos They recorded an album in their own way some of the not very well known horror and erotic movie soundtracks and adding an epic of their own. The album was recorded live in one day in the woods north of Stockholm. The Mellotron can be heard all the time while guitar and keyboards show the darkness, tension and anxiety included in such tracks. The album "Symphonic Holocaust was released by the recordlabel Mellotronen in 1998. Morte Macabre woke up from the dead earlier this year to perform at Mellotronens anniversary party at the boat Silja Festival.
There are plans to record a new album later this year and gigs are coming up this fall. So beware!
